Piping Plover at Bradley Airport

Thank you to Rollin Tebbets for sharing this amazing photo of an amazing record. Rollin had a Piping Plover at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks yesterday morning.

We are only aware of one previous inland record for Piping Plover. In C. Heart Merriam's "A Review of Birds of Connecticut" he mentions of Piping Plover "Mr. W.W.Coe has taken it at Portland". We also recall that there might be a 19th Century record from Station 43 in South Windsor.
