Visually, Room and Board is known for mid-century, sleek but comfortable designs, but they also take a responsible approach to design. Their pieces are American made and environmentally accountable, and include products that are made from recycled milk jugs, bicycle tires, and naturally sustainable materials. Not only that, but their approach is to make their furniture stand the test of time. This furniture is built to last and will not end up needlessly filling our landfills like a lot of other furnishings, especially outdoor pieces. After visiting the showroom this week near Costa Mesa, I had to share some of my favorite looks with you.
Pops of yellow look amazing against classic gray in these cozy upholstered pieces.
The Montego Collection is paired with Boyd Ottomans in my favorite color, "ocean".
The indoor/outdoor Tiffany "ghost" chair is my favorite,
especially when styled with the granite topped Portica table
Classic french inspired bistro chairs look perfect with the
blue frosted glass of the two Portica tables set end-to-end.
The Montego Collection features Ipe wood and stainless steel frames.
Why not have a sectional outdoors? This one can weather the elements!
The Emmet chair is the modern take on the adirondack chair.
They are from 100 percent recycled high-density plastic and features a stainless
steel bottle opener under the arm for effortless outdoor entertaining.
Who wouldn't be happy lounging in these orange Maya Chaises?
How cool are these Mini T table top fireplaces?
Green is always a soothing color outdoors, as seen here in the Sabrina chair.
Four Cruz lounge chairs and a Laguna ottoman create an intimate conversation area.
ciao! Fabiana
