Last week Audubon Connecticut's coastal waterbird training for municipal officials took place in Milford. It was made possible by a grant from the Long Island Sound Futures Fund and Toyota Together Green. It was a beautiful day made better by a trip out to the beaches and marshes of the Connecticut Audubon Society Coastal Center at Milford Point at the conclusion of the indoor portion of the training session. Here are a bunch of photos of the event from Patrick Comins.
Our thanks to everyone who was able to attend! The crowded session was a big success and we will continue to engage our neighbors about coastal waterbirds year-round.
