McAbee Beach

New buildings, the remains of old buildings, and even a radio transmitting tower surround this wonderful little beach right below Cannery Row, in the heart of Monterey.  It's isolated (a pocket beach) but not remote. There's a Starbucks and a Ghirardelli Chocolate nearby.  And a great aquarium, too, although it wasn't open yet and I had miles of shoreline still to cover.
